I had told myself that I would be better about posting in the new year - well ... FAIL to that.
So here's a quick picture dump again to try to catch me up and let me just focus on her first birthday in my next post......
Late January, we had a gorgeous weekend and headed out to the coast for a day - shorts and all:
Then back to work and school .... but M ended up with her first utterly adorable pigtails!!!
February! And like every month, they start out with a birthday! 10 months old today:
And Eric has his birthday in early February too:
Here's a little video of all the fun we have around the house:
M really loves dogs - it's her best sign and probably her first word (well, her variation of it). She found one here in the magazine and was so excited.
We were told to "feel free" to bring Valentines cards to daycare for Valentines Day. I got a little stressed out because I didn't know what to send for a bunch of infants that would just chew up paper - and felt too much parental guilt to not take anything (oh, here it comes). I ended up making these, which were from a free template I found through Google, which I then printed and laminated at work. They turned out great actually!!! but after I received the other kid's generic paper Valentines, I felt a little bit like "that parent" that over did it:

We were given a heart balloon down the street, and I couldn't help but do a photo shoot with it. So cute!
That weekend was so nice, that we decided to go hiking on Sunday. We headed out to the gorge, only to find out that it was nice - but windy - there, which shows in M's eyes. But the good newswas that no one else was out there - so Paris got to go and was a good dog.
M looked so cute in this shirt and was in such a fun mood this day, we had another little photo session:
| And of course one with Paris! |
A couple more cute ones from February
And a couple videos. The first, M showing off her soccer skills. Dad is soooo happy!
Here, M shows off the little scream sound she picked up from Dad pretending the dinosaur toy was eating his fingers. Now that's the noise she makes whenever she picks up the toy.
MARCH!!! and 11 months old! Standing a lot on my own and starting to take steps!
And a few more from the month because this is getting long:
