So here's an August purge ... MEL at 16 months.
I was wanting to ride M to daycare this summer, but with it being hot, and having errands to do after work, and her having temper tantrums on the ride home... it didn't happen so much. I resorted this day to picking plums from a friend's house for the ride home - early Aug.
We hit the Alberta Street Fair for a bit. M's also to the age that she doesn't want to be confined to the stroller, but would rather get out and walk. And while it looks like she's pooping ... she's not.
Lounging at our friends Corrie, Martin and McCoy's house.
Playing with McCoy and the bubble machine:
And wanting to be like the big boy Martin (who's almost a year older than her). She wanted her "hat" and then got on the board
Looking like an old pro
And to further demonstrate her dare-devil tendencies, here's her tackling the slide with no hesitation:
Mid-month we attended a camping wedding at a farm. M loved all the animals and loved camping:
Tried camping again the next weekend out in Hood River with some friends, but it was really smokey and not the best place for a toddler (last minute change of plans), so we just went home...
Some time with cousin Avery:
And just a couple other pics later in the month:

And another one with Daddies (that's what she says):
Eating cake at Jimmy and Kori's baby shower:
This one was at last Thursday on Alberta. It was really crowded so M was entertained enough to stay in her seat. She kept looking back at me with a smile - having fun mom! She really enjoyed all the different street music we stopped and listed to.
M and I met some friends at a local pizza place for a night of kid's music. M is in the front.
The last song was Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. That's my go to song when I want her to sleep ... and I guess it's ingrained in her because now she lies down when she hears it ... even out in public!!! She walked over and laid down in front of the singer when he started singing it.
